Terms of Use

Atualizado em August 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of ChugIn, operated by Lorena de Souza Leone, São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Minimum age

ChugIn is a party game intended for adults. It is offered in Brazil, where the minimum age is 18, and the app requires you to be 18 or over. Where a country permits alcohol below 18 we still require 18.

You are asked for your date of birth when you create your account, and cannot play until you have answered. Answering falsely to get past that is a breach of these terms.

We may close any account we believe belongs to someone below the minimum age for their country.

2. Coins are play money

Coins are a virtual in-game token. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred to another person, and cannot be withdrawn. There is no mechanism anywhere in the app to convert coins into currency, and this is deliberate.

Buying coins is a purchase of a licence to use them inside the game. It is not a deposit, an investment, or a wager on anything of monetary value.

Coin purchases are final. We do not offer refunds except where the law requires one, or where a purchase failed and the coins were never delivered.

We may change coin prices, package sizes, buy-in amounts and reward amounts at any time. Coins you already hold are not taken away when prices change.

3. How a game works

Players join a room with a PIN and each pay the same buy-in in coins. A platform fee of 15% of the pooled coins is taken when the host starts the game. The rest is the pot.

Each round one player receives a dare and the other players vote on whether they completed it. Scoring requires a strict majority for 'completed'. Once everyone has voted, anything short of that majority — including an exact tie — counts as not completed: no points are scored, and a double-or-nothing stake placed that round is lost.

A player who fails to vote within the time limit is removed from that game and does not get their buy-in back. Their buy-in stays in the pot.

After the final round the highest score takes the pot. Tied leaders play a sudden-death round; if they remain tied the pot is divided equally.

If nobody votes in a round, the pot is returned to the players who paid in.

4. Dares, and your own safety

Dares are suggestions for a social game. Performing one is always voluntary: you may refuse any dare or stop playing at any point, and the app never asks for proof that a dare was performed. Refusing is scored as not completed, and the in-game reroll and skip cost coins — so the choice is free, while avoiding the consequence inside the game is not.

You are responsible for your own conduct and your own safety. Do not do anything that is unsafe, illegal, harassing, or that involves anyone who has not agreed to take part.

Never perform a dare that involves drinking if you are driving, if you are under 21, if you are pregnant, if you take medication that interacts with alcohol, or if you have any medical reason not to drink. Know your limit and stop before it.

You accept the risks of playing. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from a dare you chose to perform.

5. Your account and conduct

Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account.

One account per person. Do not create additional accounts to farm mission rewards, manipulate votes, or influence the outcome of a pot.

Do not upload a profile photo that is not yours to use, or that is sexual, hateful, or depicts a minor.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Coins held by a closed account are forfeited and, because coins have no cash value, nothing of monetary value is lost.

6. Availability

The app is provided as it is, without warranty. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We may change or discontinue features. If we shut the service down, unspent coins expire, and again this costs you no money because coins have no cash value.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the courts of São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil. Nothing here removes a consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live.
